A Message from our Show Chairpersons Dianne Stevenson and Trish Poehnell

Plan to come early and stay late to be able to enjoy all our show has to offer.

Our beautiful "Northern Lights" king size quilt is the first prize for our raffle ticket sales. Second prize is an impressive " All things Canadian" in a basket. All profits from our raffle tickets go to support our charity "Aunt Leah's".

Be dazzled by a plethora of quilts, the pride and joy of our members. We are proud to showcase the work of our Feature Artists: Wilma Brock and Donna Mae Whitmore.

Take time to explore the "Heritage" room with the focus on Canada's history in textiles and changing styles in quilting. Visit the "Bed Turning" that happens twice a day. A bed turning highlights a selection of carefully chosen quilts that will be showcased with a commentary.

Take a breather and visit in the Maple Key Café serving a selection of Canadian treats.

Add to your "fabric library" when you nab an armful of packages from the over 700 Grab Bags and bundles that contain textile treasures. The Member's Market promises unique handmade items for yourself or as gifts.

The "Last Chance Corner" is new to our show and it has been embraced with great enthusiasm. Stop by to check out the textile/craft yard sale, you never know what you will find.

A full Merchants Mall with a baker's dozen of vendors will be well stocked to tempt you. National Quilting Organization

Canadian Quilters Association (CQA)

Canadian Quilt Content

Canadians want Canadian quilt magazines with Canadian content. That means your local quilt shop needs to stock The Canadian Quilter magazine. They need a CQA/ACC shop membership to receive 5 copies of each issue of The Canadian Quilter to sell in their shop – which in turn pays for their membership. Win-win-win. Take your copy to your local shop and explain the benefits.

CQA/ACC would like to compile a more complete list of quilt shops in Canada. Please ask your local shop to send their name and location to our Facebook page Canadian Quilters Association. Perhaps your shop would like to join our ‘Lollygagging to Lethbridge’ quilt shop stops!
