A Message from our Show Chairpersons Dianne Stevenson and Trish Poehnell

archiTexture: Hard Edges in a soft medium.
Monday, August 7 to Monday, October 2, 2017
777 Columbia Street, New Westminster

An Exhibition by four textile Artists: Terry Aske, Judy Villet, Mardell Rampton and Janet Archibald. Can the gleam of glass, the sharp edges of metal and the coolness of tile and stone be captured with fabric? Four New Westminster textile artists, fascinated with the tactile world, offer this exciting exhibition as an exploration of opposites: hard/soft, smooth/rough, warm/cold.

Canadian Quilt Content

Canadians want Canadian quilt magazines with Canadian content. That means your local quilt shop needs to stock The Canadian Quilter magazine. They need a CQA/ACC shop membership to receive 5 copies of each issue of The Canadian Quilter to sell in their shop – which in turn pays for their membership. Win-win-win. Take your copy to your local shop and explain the benefits.

CQA/ACC would like to compile a more complete list of quilt shops in Canada. Please ask your local shop to send their name and location to our Facebook page Canadian Quilters Association. Perhaps your shop would like to join our ‘Lollygagging to Lethbridge’ quilt shop stops!
