Hello Fellow Quilters
Well we did it, with an amazing team in place FVQG had it’s first annual VIRTUAL MEETING!
All in all it was a great success. A BIG thank you to everyone behind the scenes spending countless hours to make it look as good as it did.
This looks like it is the way of the forseeable future for us to be able to see each other.
With that in mind the Program/Workshop team is working diligently to bring in artists from all over the world. Stayed tuned for exciting new ventures coming our way and of course remember to sign up for virtual classes as per newsletter instructions.
Keep those creative juices flowing by making Preemies and all those UFO’s that have been sitting in the back of your closet. Remember to send all your photos to me for the Show and Tell for October.
Nicholas Turcan who is the creator of www.mysteryquilt.com will be October’s Presenter.
Our library has taken on the very LARGE task of cataloging all of our books for a future reservation platform, in the near future. Thank you Ladies!

The AGM will be held on Octobe 13,2020 at the regular time of 10am,
Our first DRIVE THRU mini quilt meeting.
Held last Saturday August 29, 2020!
The weather co operated, members showed up and drove through, all in all a great success. 234 preemies were collected, Cops for Cancer received quilts, Quilts and blocks for our current charity, library books and memberships were all received.
A big shout out to all the volunteers who made this all possible and Thank You to Rita Steeple for organizing us all.
